Buckhurst Hill West

The western side sits closer to Woodford and the Roding Valley. Housing stock is similar to the east, with interwar semis and some post-war additions, though the streets tend to be slightly more modest. Roding Valley tube is within reach for some residents, giving a second Central line option. Queen's Road provides the local high street with independent cafes, a Waitrose, and enough to cover daily needs without driving anywhere. It's a touch less expensive than the eastern side but shares the same suburban family character.
