Princes Park

A Victorian and Edwardian residential suburb to the west of the town centre, taking its name from the local park that gives the area its green heart. Tree-lined streets with period terraces and semis give it a more established character than the newer Chatham suburbs. The park itself is a genuine local asset, and there are local shops serving the neighbourhood. Princes Park is one of the more desirable residential areas within Chatham, attracting families who want a step up from the town centre terraces while still being within easy reach. It has a quiet village-suburb feel within an urban context.
