Liverpool Street station is one of London's busiest rail terminals, serving Essex, Hertfordshire, and East Anglia, plus the Central, Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith, and Elizabeth lines. The area around it is wall-to-wall offices and the pub scene after work on a Thursday is intense. Broadgate Circle has restaurants and occasional events. Moorgate station adds Northern line connections. There's very little residential property here, with most of the living happening just over the border in Shoreditch or Spitalfields. The old Spitalfields Market end has more life and personality than the corporate towers around Bishopsgate. It's a place you work in, drink in after work, and then leave.
