Dorking North

The north side of town, climbing up towards Ranmore Common and the vineyard at Denbies. This includes the streets around the Deepdene area and the roads heading up towards the North Downs. Housing is a mix of larger Edwardian and Victorian houses, some 1930s semis, and newer estates. Dorking station (mainline to Victoria) is accessible from here, which matters for commuters. You get easy access to Box Hill and the walking trails along the ridge. Slightly more residential and less high street than the south side of town.
