Southfield (Acton Green)

The Acton Green end of the Southfield ward, closer to Chiswick Park and the Chiswick border. Chiswick Park tube (District line) is nearby. The streets have a mix of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, with Acton Green itself providing a small common. It feels more like the edge of Chiswick than part of Ealing, and residents often describe themselves as being in Chiswick. The shops along Acton Lane serve the basics. It benefits from being between two more established areas.
