Englefield Green is where Royal Holloway sits, and the east side includes the approaches to the campus along Egham Hill. The green itself is a proper village green with a pond, cricket pitch, and a couple of pubs. Housing is a mix of larger detached houses, some quite handsome, and smaller places tucked along the side roads. Windsor Great Park is literally at the end of the road, which is a genuine selling point. It feels more affluent and leafy than Egham town centre, even though it's only a 10-minute walk to the station.
