Broadmead sits on the western side of Folkestone between Cheriton and the town centre. Mostly 1930s to 1960s housing, a mix of semis and some terraces. It is residential and quiet without much going on locally, but you are within walking distance of Folkestone West station, which matters for the London commute. Not an area with much of its own identity but practical enough.
