Windmill Hill is one of the better-known residential areas of Gravesend, sitting on higher ground south of the centre. The windmill itself is a local landmark. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces near the bottom and larger Edwardian and interwar properties as you climb the hill. Whitehill merges into it from the east. The area has a slightly more established feel than much of Gravesend, with tree-lined streets and a community that has been here a while. Walkable to the station and town centre.
