GU4 7
East Horsley is the more substantial of the two Horsleys, with a proper parade of shops, a deli, a couple of restaurants, and the Horsley Towers estate which is now partly a community venue. West Horsley is quieter and more scattered, centred around St Mary's church and the lanes off the A246. Horsley station sits between the two and gets you to Waterloo in under an hour. The housing around East Horsley is largely 1920s to 1960s detached houses on wooded plots, many with long driveways. It feels leafy and tucked away despite being only ten minutes from the A3. Families are drawn by the schools and the sense of living somewhere that still functions as a village.
