Worplesdon sits north of Guildford between the A3 and the A322, with the village itself centred around the church and the green. It's a proper old Surrey village that has kept its identity despite being close to Guildford's northern suburbs. Worplesdon station is on the main Waterloo line, which is a real asset. The housing is largely detached, quite a lot of it interwar and postwar on generous plots, with some newer developments around the edges. Merrist Wood college is nearby. Whitmoor Common and Rickford Common give you open heathland for walks. It's quiet, well-connected, and family-oriented, though the A3 and A322 can mean traffic noise depending on exactly where you are.
