GU2 9
Stoughton sits northwest of the town centre, originally a separate village that was absorbed as Guildford grew. The northern part is mainly 1930s to 1950s housing, with semis and short terraces on quiet residential streets. Stoughton Road has a few local shops and takeaways. It's the sort of place people drive through without really noticing, but residents appreciate the quiet and the relative affordability. The Royal Surrey County Hospital is nearby, which brings some NHS staff to the area.
