Westborough

Westborough covers the area west of the town centre along the A3100. It includes the Park Barn estate, which is one of Guildford's more deprived pockets, alongside more conventional suburban streets. The mix is quite stark in places. The Surrey Research Park borders the area and the university is close by. There's a community centre and some local shops but no real high street. Guildford station is walkable from the eastern edge. It's practical and affordable by local standards, if not particularly characterful.
