Burpham

Burpham sits northeast of Guildford off the A3, which creates a clear boundary between it and the town centre. It has its own station on the London Waterloo line, though most people drive. The housing is a mix of interwar semis, 1960s estates, and newer cul-de-sac developments. There's a Sainsbury's, a pub, and a small parade of shops. It feels like a self-contained suburb rather than part of Guildford proper. Families like it because houses are slightly more affordable than the central wards and you still get the Guildford school catchments. The George Abbot Academy is here.
