St Nicolas

St Nicolas covers the area around St Nicolas' Church and the bottom of the high street where it meets the River Wey. It includes the Millmead area and some of the streets climbing up towards the Mount. The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre sits on the riverbank here. Housing is mixed, from period cottages to Victorian terraces and some postwar infill. It's a pleasant, walkable part of town that benefits from being close to the centre and the river without the noise of the high street itself.
