Haggerston

Haggerston sits on Kingsland Road between Dalston and Hoxton. The Vietnamese restaurant strip is legendary and runs right through the middle. Large council estates, particularly the Haggerston Estate itself, sit alongside streets of newly done-up Victorians and converted warehouses. Haggerston Overground station was a game changer when it opened. The area has a grittier feel than nearby De Beauvoir but you're walking distance from the same canal, the same Dalston nightlife, and the same Columbia Road on Sundays. It's popular with people who wanted to live in Dalston or Shoreditch but at slightly lower rents.
