Apsley and Corner Hall

Apsley sits along the Grand Union Canal at the southern end of Hemel. The big Sainsbury's and retail park on the London Road make it the main shopping destination for half the town. There's been significant new-build development along the canal, a mix of flats and houses aimed at young professionals and first-time buyers. The older part of Apsley has Victorian cottages from the paper mill days. Corner Hall is the quieter residential bit further up the hill. Apsley station gives you a direct train to Euston, which is a draw for commuters.
