Waterloo & South Bank

Waterloo is the transport hub that connects the South Bank to the rest of London. The station is one of the busiest in the country. The surrounding area has seen massive development, with the Shell Centre redevelopment and new towers around the station. The South Bank stretch from Westminster Bridge to Blackfriars has the London Eye, the National Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall, and countless restaurants. Housing is almost entirely new-build. It's convenient for transport and culture, but you're paying a premium for the SE1 postcode.
