Larkfield

Larkfield is one of those places that grew up around a main road and never really stopped. Most of the housing is post-war, lots of 1960s and 70s estates with some newer pockets. The Larkfield Leisure Centre is the local hub, and the retail park off the A20 covers supermarket and basic shopping needs. It does not really have a centre or a high street in any meaningful sense. East Malling station is walkable from parts of the area and gives you a direct line into Victoria. Families move here because the houses are a decent size for the money compared to Maidstone or anywhere closer to London.
