Snodland East & Ham Hill

The older part of Snodland, clustered around the High Street and the river. There is a proper little town centre with a few independent shops, takeaways, and a Co-op. Housing is a mix of Victorian workers' cottages near the centre and 20th century estates further out towards Ham Hill. Snodland station is here, which is on the Medway Valley line into Maidstone and Strood. It is not fancy but it has more of a community feel than you might expect. Ham Hill climbs away from the river and has some older housing with views across the valley.
