Garlinge

Garlinge is a suburban area on the western edge of Margate, between Westgate and the town centre. Mostly 1930s semis and post-war housing. It's quieter and more residential than central Margate, with a primary school and a small parade of shops. Nothing remarkable, but it's the sort of area families on a budget end up in because you get more space for your money than the seafront. Westgate station is walkable for some parts.
