Northfleet & Springhead

Old Northfleet around the High Street is tired but functional. Terraced housing, some ex-council stock, and a few local shops that cover the basics. Springhead to the south is a different feel, more suburban with inter-war semis and some newer builds creeping in from the Ebbsfleet Garden City development. Ebbsfleet International is technically walkable from parts of Springhead, which gives you high-speed rail into St Pancras in about 17 minutes. That is the one genuinely impressive stat about the area. The older Northfleet station is slower and less useful. It is not pretty, but it is practical and significantly cheaper than Gravesend proper.
