Oxted North

Old Oxted is up the hill, a small cluster of period buildings along the old high street. It has character but not much in the way of shops beyond a couple of pubs and a church. The residential streets north of the station are a mix of Edwardian and interwar semis and detached houses, many with good-sized gardens. The station is the anchor for the whole area, with trains to London Bridge and East Croydon. Most of the housing here is solidly middle class and well maintained. Walking distance to the station is the big draw.
