Leigh and Chiddingstone Causeway

Leigh (pronounced Lye) is a proper little village green setup with a pub, a church, and a cricket pitch. It sits just south of the Hildenborough/Tonbridge corridor so you get the rural feel without being completely cut off. Chiddingstone Causeway has a station on the Tonbridge to Redhill line, which is useful if imperfect. The housing stock is mostly older, with some nice period properties around the green. Families here tend to use Tonbridge for secondary schools and shopping. It is quiet and pleasant without the self-conscious prettiness of Chiddingstone itself.
