Chiltern Ridge East

This covers a scattering of small Chiltern villages along the ridge east of Princes Risborough, including Great Kimble, Ellesborough, and Lacey Green. It is proper countryside, quiet lanes, big views from the escarpment, and houses that range from old flint cottages to substantial detached places with land. Chequers, the Prime Minister's country residence, is in the hills above Ellesborough. Little Kimble has a request stop on the Chiltern line but most people drive. You are reliant on a car for everything and the nearest proper shops are in Princes Risborough or Wendover.
