Eastcliff

Eastcliff is the stretch of large Victorian and Edwardian houses along the clifftop east of the harbour. It was once the smart end of Ramsgate and you can still see it in the architecture. Many of the big houses have been converted to flats or guest houses, some better maintained than others. The views out to sea are the main draw. There is a slightly faded grandeur to it that either appeals or depresses you, depending on your outlook.
