Whittlesford

Whittlesford is a small village that punches above its weight because of Whittlesford Parkway station, which is the main rail link for this whole area into London. The station also serves the Granta Park and Babraham research campus workforce, so the car park fills up early. The village itself is quiet with a pub, a church, and limited shops. Neighbouring Duxford and Pampisford are similar in character. Housing is mostly detached and semi-detached, and prices are pushed up by the station proximity. It is a practical choice if you need the rail commute but want village life.
