South Woodham Ferrers Elmwood

Elmwood is the eastern half of South Woodham Ferrers, more residential and quieter than the Chetwood side since it's further from the town centre and the station. The housing is the same vintage, mostly 1980s family houses on looping estate roads. Woodham Fen and the marshes along the River Crouch are accessible on foot, and dog walkers use the river wall paths regularly. It is a bit of a trek into the town centre on foot, though everything is still within a mile or so. The same trade-off as the rest of South Woodham applies: it is safe, quiet and good for young families, but teenagers and anyone wanting nightlife will find it dull.
