Milton sits just north of the town centre and seafront, roughly between the High Street and London Road. It is one of the more central parts of Southend, with Victorian and Edwardian terraces making up most of the housing stock. Lots of conversions to flats, which means it attracts a younger population with higher rental turnover. Milton Park provides some green space. It is walkable to the high street and both Southend Central and Southend Victoria stations. Not the quietest part of town but convenient if you work locally or commute.
