Hextable is a large village between Swanley and Dartford that has grown steadily with 20th century housing. It has its own primary school and a few local shops along the main road, but most people drive to Swanley or Bluewater for anything serious. The housing stock is mostly 1930s to 1960s semis and detached houses with decent sized gardens. It is quiet and family oriented without much nightlife or character to speak of. Slightly cheaper than the Dartford side, which brings in young families stretching their budget.
