This covers the southern fringe of Waltham Abbey and the more rural parts reaching towards the Lee Valley. The Royal Gunpowder Mills site is here, a surprisingly interesting heritage spot that most people outside the area have never heard of. Housing thins out quickly into countryside, with scattered farmhouses and some larger detached properties. The Lee Valley Park dominates the landscape, with reservoirs, nature reserves, and the white water centre built for the 2012 Olympics. It feels genuinely rural in places, which is unusual this close to the M25.
