Roehampton

Roehampton is centred around its large social housing estates, including the Alton Estate which is one of the biggest in London. It has a very different feel from the rest of Wandsworth. Richmond Park is right on the doorstep, which is a genuine asset. The University of Roehampton brings some student life. The high street is basic, mostly functional shops and takeaways. Transport links are bus-dependent, there is no tube or rail station. It is affordable by Wandsworth standards but isolated compared to the rest of the borough.
