Nascot is the leafy western side of Watford, running from Nascot Wood down towards Cassiobury Park. The streets around Nascot Wood Road have large Edwardian and Victorian houses on tree-lined roads. Cassiobury Park is one of the best parks in Hertfordshire, with the Gade running through it, a paddling pool, a miniature railway, and miles of walking paths. Watford station (Metropolitan line) is at the southern end, and Watford Junction is walkable too. This is where Watford's professional families settle. The housing stock is handsome and the park access is genuinely special.
