St James's Park is the ceremonial heart of London. The Mall, Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade, and the park itself with its pelicans and lake. Almost nobody lives here in any conventional sense. The few residential addresses are extraordinarily exclusive. The gentlemen's clubs of St James's Street (White's, Boodle's, Brooks's) set the tone. Jermyn Street has bespoke shirt makers and cheese shops. Green Park and St James's Park tubes serve the area. It's a place you walk through, visit, or work in, rather than one you'd describe as a neighbourhood.
