SW1Y 6
This is the seat of British government. Parliament, Downing Street, Whitehall, Westminster Abbey, the Supreme Court. Residential living is minimal, confined to a handful of flats in the streets behind Smith Square. The area is defined entirely by its institutional function. Westminster tube (Jubilee, District, Circle) is here. Tourists pack the pavements around Parliament Square. Smith Square has a slightly quieter feel, home to political party headquarters and the concert hall. It's London's civic centre, not a place anyone moves to for the quality of life.
