Wilmington

Wilmington sits along the A225 between Dartford and Farningham Road station. It is known locally for the grammar schools, Wilmington Grammar for Boys and Wilmington Grammar for Girls, which make it a draw for families across north Kent. The housing stock is mostly interwar and post-war semis and detached houses with good-sized gardens. There is no real high street, just a scattering of shops along the main road, so you rely on Dartford town centre for most things. Wilmington feels more suburban than its neighbour Sutton-at-Hone, but the schools and relatively affordable houses keep demand steady from families.
