Beacon Road

Beacon Road covers the residential streets running south from the centre of Broadstairs towards the North Foreland area. It is quieter and more suburban than the old town, with a mix of interwar semis and some larger detached houses closer to the clifftops. Joss Bay and Kingsgate Bay are within walking distance, which families with kids appreciate in summer. There is not much in the way of shops or services locally, so you walk or drive into Broadstairs centre for everything. The streets are calm and it has a slightly retired feel during term time.
